Eurocode

Under the Eurocode basis, MkaPEB follows EN 1991 actions to generate imposed roof loads, snow actions, and wind actions in a way that is consistent with Eurocode load modeling philosophy and load combinations. Imposed roof loads are assigned by roof accessibility category (with Category H used as the default for typical industrial roofs), while snow actions are derived from the applicable roof shape coefficients and drift arrangements for common roof configurations, including multi-span and parapet-drift scenarios. Wind actions are computed by considering both external and internal pressures, and by selecting the appropriate external pressure coefficient set based on the effective loaded area—distinguishing between overall pressures used for the primary system and local pressures used for components and cladding when tributary areas are small.
