This section highlights selected code-based considerations that MkaPEB takes into account when generating load cases and load combinations for single-storey steel buildings. The presented examples emphasize the distinction between global actions for primary framing and local pressures/actions for secondary members and cladding, and illustrate key rules related to roof live loads, snow loading (partial, unbalanced, drift, and sliding), wind loading (MWFRS and components & cladding), and seismic requirements.
